Moldovagaz says to pay Gazprom $647/1,000 cbm for gas in Jan

CHISINAU, Jan 10 (PRIME) -- Moldova will buy gas from Russian gas giant Gazprom at U.S. $647 per 1,000 cubic meters in January, head of Moldovan gas company Moldovagaz Vadim Cheban said on Monday.

“The gas purchase price rose to $647 per 1,000 cubic meters in January,” Cheban said.

Moldovagaz bought gas from Gazprom at $550 per 1,000 cubic meters in December. At the same time, the tariff for consumers was calculated basing on a $430 price.
